You can search the archive in the following ways:

1. Select a start date to retrieve all news stories in that time frame
2. Specify both start AND end dates to retrieve all news stories in that time frame
3. Specify dates and keywords to retrieve all news stories in that time frame and include keywords in the title

Tips for searching

1. Check that you have specified a date range which is chronological
2. Keywords are case sensitive
3. To search a particular month of any year, make the start and end dates the same
4. Use a ‘+’ between keywords that are required in a title, i.e. Ayrshire + Transport
5. Use a ‘,’ between keywords to search for one OR more keywords in the title, i.e. Ayrshire, Transport
